About Cearra's Kitty Service

Cearra's Kitty Service is owned by Cearra Howey and was started in August 2022 in Port Perry, Ontario. Cearra is a huge cat lover and experienced with cats. Cearra has a lot of knowledge and expertise in caring for and working with cats of all breeds, ages, health levels, sizes domestication levels, and more. Cearra is fully insured and bonded, has certificates in pet sitting, pet first aid and animal care. Cearra also has a degree in cat behaviour and training. Cearra's cat experience includes but is not limited to volunteering at several cat rescues, animal shelters, volunteering at veterinary clinics and sitting friend's and family member's cats. Cearra's visits with cats always involve feeding and watering, litter scooping/cleaning, medicating, basic grooming, playtime, treats, snuggles, and photo/video updates for owners.

From our very first email, Cearra always responded promptly and professionally. It was obvious from the start that she has a true love for cats.
This alone gave us great comfort leaving them in her capable and caring hands. She visited at the agreed time each day, was thorough in completing her duties each visit and sent us updates to let us know how our kitties were doing in our absence. Leaving your fur babies (and home) in the care of someone else is always a little scary. I was so pleased with Cearra's entire service.. From the introduction to the cutest little gift at the end of her trip.. We got home last night and I have already been referring her.. She is such a sweet woman , very kind and accommodating! Our cat Benjamin fell in love with her at first pet! She kept in contact, updated us with pictures and made us feel very, very comfortable having her in our home with our cat (something we were very nervous about as we have never had a pet sitter before)! If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable , thorough and has a love and passion for cats, you should hire Cearra! You will certainly not be disappointed. We have peace of mind that she lives locally and will be able to easily drop by to check in and care for our two pets. Both Stitch (our cat) and Willow (our bunny) adore her. She is attentive and sweet with the animals and always sends us updates and photos of her visits with them. Before our initial weekend away, Cearra came to our home to meet the animals and took notes about their care, temperaments, likes and dislikes. She is always thorough, professional, and positive.
